Grade 1 & Grade 2 – “Plant a Friend”
Students of Grades 1 and 2 participated in the heartwarming activity “Plant a Friend.” Each child planted a sapling and pledged to care for it as a true friend. Teachers explained how plants provide us with oxygen, food, shade, and a healthier environment. Through this activity, children learned valuable lessons about nurturing life, patience, responsibility, and the importance of greenery in our daily lives. Their smiling faces reflected their excitement as they took the first step towards becoming young environmental stewards.
Grade 3 – “Trash to Treasure Activity”
The students of Grade 3 showcased their innovation and creativity through the “Trash to Treasure Challenge.” They transformed discarded plastic containers, waste boxes, and other recyclable materials into beautiful and useful items such as pen stands, decorative lamps, organizers, and artistic models. Their imaginative creations demonstrated that sustainability and creativity can go hand in hand.
