Report on the Activity:
The WSRO National Championship – 2026 was held in Goa, with approximately 1,065 participants competing across 16 different robotics events.
St. John International School, Palghar participated in the Junior Line Follower Category, with 42 teams from 12 zones across India. The team was mentored by Mrs. Pratiksha Sankhe.
The team successfully cleared the First Round and secured 1st position in the qualifying stage. Despite facing a technical challenge in the Second Round, the team qualified for the Quarter-Final.
In the Quarter-Final, the team secured 1st position with a speed of 6.05 seconds. During the Semi-Final, the robot changed direction on the track and recorded 14.42 seconds. Despite this challenge, the team secured a place among the Top 7 teams and received a Special Award.
The team has qualified for the Fibonacci International Robotics Olympiad World Championship, to be held in Rome, Italy, from 30 November to 4 December 2026, where they will represent India.

The championship enhanced students’ technical skills, confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, while giving them valuable exposure to competitive robotics.
